Thomas Reichardt Age 73, passed away Tuesday March 7, 2017 at his late residence. Born in Joliet on January 4, 1944. He was a proud US Army veteran. He was retired from inside sales with Monroe Trucks. Preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Catherine (nee Thomas) Reichardt; a daughter, Julie and his siblings, Dale Jr., Catherine, Margaret, Teresa and Mary. Survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Carol F. (nee Bacon) Reichardt; two daughters, Theresa and Cynthia; his grandchildren, Antoine Brooks, Nevaeh Clayton and Alyssa Burgess; his brother, John Reichardt and by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home and Crematory 2320 Black Road, Joliet on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 3 to 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 11:00 am with Pastor Rodney Juell officiating. Per Thomas's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with final inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.
