Roger L. Henderson Retired TSgt with the United States Air Force, passed away on Saturday April 3, 2021 at the age of 76 years. Roger spent 4 years of active duty with the United States Air Force and an additional 13 years in the United States Air Force Reserves serving proudly with the 928th Division at O'Hare International Airport, Chicago. Roger was employed for 36 years as a computer programmer and analyst for several local companies. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Doreen (nee Hackbarth) Henderson; two brothers, two sisters and by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation for Roger L. Henderson will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road Joliet on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 12:30 pm until time of services at 1:30 pm with Pastor Bill Beagle officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In accordance will CDC Covid 19 guidelines, all attending the visitation and funeral services will be required to properly wear a facial mask and observe social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Roger's memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle Joliet, Illinois 60431 would be appreciated.
