We are saddened to announce the passing of Victor Apaico Jr, who left us on October 27, 2024, in Joliet, Illinois at the age of 52.

Victor was born on March 22, 1972, to his loving parents Victor Apaico Sr and Marta Freytes. He was a graduate of the Roosevelt High School class of 1990 and later went on to receive his degree from DeVry University. He had a beautiful life as a caregiver for his mother, Marta, whom he cherished dearly.

Victor was known for his love of video gaming and comic books always finding joy and relaxation in his favorite virtual worlds. He had a playful spirit and a great sense of humor, bringing smiles to those around him. Although Victor did not have any children of his own, he was a beloved son, brother, and uncle to many. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kind heart and fun-loving nature.

His legacy will be carried on by his mother Marta, and siblings: Maria, Juan, Eduardo, and Leebeth. He leaves behind his dear nieces and nephews who he loved each as his own: Damien, Eloy, Eduardo Jr(Daniel), Litizania, Aaron, Michael, Kaileb, Charis, and Jonathan, and his great-nieces and great-nephews: Kailiann Grace, Aiden Alexander , Aaliyah, Devin James, Gabriel, Audrina, Solomon, and Sebastian whom he cherished each individually.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family will be appreciated.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Carlson Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home (2320 Black Road, Joliet, IL 60435).
