Vincent Paul Mikulski Passed away at Edwards Hospital in Naperville from an extended illness, Sunday, October 15, 2023, at age 74.

He is survived by his wife Julie (Poggensee) Mikulski, his daughters Darlene Mikulski, Laura (Colin) Johnstone and Angel Mikulski(Tim Miller). (Guardian of) Michael Mikulski, His sisters Victoria Mikulski, Barbara (Ernie) Vazquez, Margie Jusko, Geraldine (Don) Fuller; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents Bob and Lottie Mikulski. His siblings, Dorothy (Tom) Salozzo, Bruce (Marilyn) Mikulski, Micheal (Debra) Mikulski.

Vincent was a Proud United States Air Force Veteran, serving 20 years. He worked for International Harvester, DuPage Forest Preserve, and the TSA. He was also a member of the American Legion.

Vincent enjoyed spending time with all of his grandchildren and daughters, fishing, hiking, or just simple walks with his dogs. When he was home he spent a lot of his time being a handyman, planting or tending to his fruit trees and roses, or just simply sitting in his yard enjoying the views and his surroundings. Often known for putting his family members before himself, his spot on humor, practical joking, bringing joy to those around him, and spending spare time at the Tiki Club, enjoying a cold drink.

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd, Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 24th from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 25th at 11:00 A.M. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Reception to follow with friends and family at the VFW, 124 Stone City Dr, Joliet.
