William "Billy" Raymond Dietz – passed away peacefully at his home, Saturday, June 4, 2022. Age 67. Survived by his loving wife of 41 years Patricia Dietz (nee Sklare), two sons Scott W. Dietz (Amanda Bayne) and Andrew J. Dietz (Katie Krol); grandchildren Addison, Scarlet and Jack Dietz. His brothers-in-law Bill (Barbara) Sklare, Dr. John (Laura) Sklare, sister-in-law Joyce Allen and niece Jacki (Jeff) Owen. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Margaret Dietz, his brother John "Shoes" Dietz, brother-in-law David Allen Sr. and his sister-in-law Brenda Sklare. Graduate of Joliet East High School 1973 and graduate of Illinois State University 1977. Bill was a member of the Laborers Union Local 75 from 1976 – 2018, serving on the Auditors and Executive Boards respectively, before being appointed Secretary Treasurer in 2002. He was also financial Secretary and Treasurer of Will – Grundy Building Trades Council. He was honored for his many years of dedicated service. Member of the Moran AC and Galli's AC. Bill enjoyed camping, golf and his Miller Lite. His greatest love was his family, especially being a Bumpa. Bill touched many lives and will be missed by all."
